Bible AdventuresThe Stories

Don't just read the chapter — walk it. Carry the offering, build the ark, stand in the valley with a sling. Every chapter is a small playable story, and the verse you take with you is the real reward.

What it is

A study guide you actually play

Each chapter is built to teach the whole chapter — every major beat, every name — by letting you live it rather than skim it.

The Torah, chapter by chapter

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers are laid out as a map — 153 chapters, each one playable end to end. The rest of the Bible is on the way.

You do it — you don't tap through it

Move with a joystick, act with a button. Gather the offering, lead the animals aboard, hold steady as the dove returns. The turning point happens to you, in world.

Scripture you keep

Every chapter lands its defining verse on a card, collected into a verse journal. Recall a verse correctly twice and it's marked mastered.

No account. No ads. Plays offline.

Nothing to sign into, nothing tracked, nothing sold. The whole game works with the network off, and every chapter is free — forever.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Is the whole Bible playable yet?

Not yet — and the app says so on its own title screen. This release covers the first four books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers, all 153 chapters, each one playable end to end. Every other book is listed on the map and marked "coming soon".

Bible Adventures is a work in progress on purpose: I add new playable chapters every week, and chapters that get reworked are flagged UPDATED on the map so you know there's something new to replay.

Does it cost anything?

No. The game is free and every chapter in it is free, permanently. There is no paid tier, no energy meter, no ads, and nothing is locked behind a purchase.

There is an optional tip jar in Settings for anyone who wants to support the work. It unlocks nothing at all — it just says thank you, and puts a small supporter mark on your Settings screen.

Which translation is used?

The New International Version (NIV). Every verse card gives its reference, so you can read the passage in your own preferred translation alongside.

Scripture quotations taken from the Holy Bible, New International Version® (NIV®), copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. There's no chat, no ads, no links out of the game, and nothing collected about the player. Scripture includes hard events — a murder, a flood, a judgment — and these are handled with deliberate restraint: named where the text names them, and never shown graphically. Weight is carried by darkness, silence and a held frame rather than by gore.

How do I turn off the music, or make the text bigger?

Everything is in Settings on the title screen: separate music and sound volume, haptics, read-aloud narration, reduced motion, and a larger-text option for the dialogue and captions.

Where is my progress saved? Will an update wipe it?

Your progress and verse journal are saved on your device and survive app updates. When a chapter's content changes, your completion is kept and the chapter is simply marked UPDATED so you can replay the new version. Deleting the app deletes the save.

Is any of my data tracked or sold?

No. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no servers of mine. Nothing about you is collected in the first place. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
