Piano Macaroni ("the app," "we," "us") is a piano and synthesizer app published by David Vetan (Vetan FC Solutions LLC). There is no account to create, we do not run servers, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
We collect nothing. The app has no backend and makes no network requests. The only things it stores are kept on your device:
None of it is transmitted anywhere, and none of it is visible to us.
The app does not request microphone access and cannot listen to your surroundings. Recording works by capturing the app's own audio output — the notes it is generating — so a recording contains what you played and nothing from the room around you.
Recordings stay in the app until you choose to do something with them. If you export or share one, it goes wherever you send it, and that destination's own privacy terms then apply. We are not involved in that step and receive no copy.
Piano Macaroni Premium is a single, one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes the payment; we never see or receive your payment details, and no account is created. The app asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists in order to unlock the premium features, and that exchange is with Apple, not with us. Restoring purchases works the same way, through your Apple ID.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Because there is no data collection, there is nothing to obtain parental consent for. In-app purchases can be restricted using iOS Screen Time.
Delete a recording inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes every preference and recording it stored on the device. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
