BooBoo Log ("the app," "we," "us") is an injury and recovery tracker published by David Vetan (Vetan FC Solutions LLC). It was built to hold genuinely sensitive information — injuries, appointments, medications, insurance details — so the design starts from a simple rule: none of it leaves your device. There is no account, no server of ours, no cloud sync, no analytics and no advertising.
We collect nothing. The app has no backend and makes no network requests to any service of ours. Everything you enter is stored in the app's own local database on your device:
Much of the above is health information about you or about someone you care for. It is treated the same way as everything else in the app: written only to local storage, never transmitted, never analysed by us, and never shared with any third party. The app does not use HealthKit and neither reads from nor writes to Apple Health.
The insurance section can be locked behind Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. That check is performed entirely by iOS, which tells the app only whether it succeeded. The app never receives, stores or transmits biometric data of any kind.
The camera is used to photograph an injury, to measure it with the depth sensor, and to build the 3-D body model for the anatomy map. The resulting images and measurements are saved on the device and go nowhere else.
Reminders for upcoming care events are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There is no push server and no notification content leaves the phone.
Some screens can hand off to another app — tapping a provider's address opens Apple Maps, and tapping an insurer's website opens your browser. Once you leave, that service's own privacy policy applies. The app sends nothing with you beyond the address or web address you tapped.
The app does not sync your records anywhere. Its storage is, however, included in the standard device backup that iOS makes if you have iPhone or iPad backups enabled — that backup is made by Apple to your own account, under Apple's privacy policy, and is not something we operate or can access. Separately, you can export a record as a PDF and share it yourself; where it goes after that is your choice.
The app is not directed at children under 13. Parents and carers can of course log a child's injuries — that information is stored locally on the parent's own device like everything else, and is never collected by us.
Delete any injury, care event, person or attachment inside the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on the device. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request you need to make of us.
