Privacy Policy

Globe Cup: The Journey ("the app," "we," "us") is designed to respect your privacy. We do not run our own servers, we do not use analytics or advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties. This policy explains the limited data the app handles.

Data we collect

We collect no personal data on any server of ours, because we don't operate one. The app functions as follows:

• Single-player game saves are stored locally on your device.
• Multiplayer uses Apple's CloudKit (part of iCloud) to share a game world between you and a friend. When you host or join a shared world, the following is stored in CloudKit and shared with your chosen game partner: the display name you type for your player, your in-game club, and your game progress (league results, cup runs, and similar game state). A short world code is used to connect the two players. This data is game data — it is not linked to your real-world identity by us, and it is used solely to make multiplayer work.
• Push notifications (optional): if you enable notifications, Apple's push service is used to alert you when your friend has taken their turn. This relies on a device token managed by Apple.

How the data is used

The data described above is used only to provide the app's features — saving your career, running shared multiplayer worlds, and notifying you of your friend's moves. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and it is never sold.

Where the data lives

All online data is stored within Apple's iCloud/CloudKit infrastructure and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not copy this data to any other location.

Data sharing

In multiplayer, your game data (including the display name you chose) is shared with the specific friend you play with, via the world code you exchange. We do not share your data with anyone else, and there are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any name you enter is a game display name you choose, and we recommend not entering sensitive personal information.

Your choices

• You can play the entire single-player game without any online features.
• You can decline notification permission; the app still works.
• You can delete a shared world / stop playing multiplayer at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
