Record one second of your day. In a year you have a living film of your life — kept entirely on your phone, with no account, no ads, and nothing sent anywhere.
Something broken, confusing, or missing? Write to me directly — a real person reads every message.
On your iPhone, in the app's own storage. The app has no servers and makes no network requests at all. Nothing is uploaded, and nobody but you can see any of it.
No. One Second Days is a single purchase with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads.
Yes — hold the shutter instead of tapping it. Past three seconds the ring turns to embers to show you're on borrowed time, and it stops itself at five.
Open the recorder again and capture a new one. The app will ask before replacing the second you already saved, and your note and mood for that day are carried over so you don't lose what you wrote.
The app asks first, then removes both the entry and its video file from the device. That one is deliberate and permanent — nothing else in the app ever deletes a clip.
The app doesn't sync to iCloud, but its storage is included in your normal iPhone backup if you have backups enabled. If your days matter to you, keep iPhone backups on.
It runs, but the layout is designed for iPhone.
So a moment keeps its voices. You can decline it and the app will still record video.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no data leaves your device. The full policy is here: One Second Days privacy policy.
